Things to be improved (in my opinion) Implementing changes in a journalism curriculum is essential to ensure students are well-prepared for the ever-evolving media landscape. Regular curriculum updates are crucial to incorporate the latest trends in journalism, such as data journalism and multimedia reporting. Additionally, offering specialization options allows students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals, ensuring they acquire the specific skills needed for their chosen journalism niche. Courses focusing on digital content production, social media management, video editing, and data analysis are essential components of a modern journalism program. Addressing workload and program duration is equally important. Ensuring a manageable academic load is crucial for student well-being and success. Reducing the program's length by removing less relevant courses or optimizing the curriculum for efficiency can be considered. Modernizing facilities is crucial for p...

Blog post 4 Topic: Time travel to the past or future

Imagen
The year 3000 When contemplating a journey through time, my inclination leans decidedly towards the future, specifically the year 3000, a playful homage to the animated series "Futurama." The allure of this choice lies in my insatiable curiosity to bear witness to the astounding evolution of technology, the transformation of society, and the solutions to the current challenges that beset us. What would this future world look like? Have we truly reached for the stars, realizing interstellar travel? Is disease a relic of the past, conquered by medical breakthroughs? And perhaps most intriguingly, how does humanity coexist with advanced artificial intelligence? These questions tantalize my imagination. However, despite the magnetic pull of the future's unknown, I wouldn't wish to permanently reside in that distant era. The reason is simple: the absence of familiarity. The people I cherish, the history that defines my cultural identity, and the traditions that ground m...

My dream job In the future, I would love to become a globally recognized sports journalist. I envision an exciting career where I have the opportunity to cover the world's most important events and interview elite athletes. My job would be a mix of passion for sports and journalism, informing the audience about the most important things in the world of sports. To achieve this, I will need to develop skills such as thorough research, writing, effective communication and the ability to adapt to high-pressure situations. It will also be essential to keep up to date on the latest sporting events and new trends in the media. In terms of salary, as a successful sports journalist, I expect to earn a high salary. Experienced sports journalists with a large audience are usually paid a solid salary, earning enough to live well. Currently, I am studying journalism because I believe it is the perfect foundation to pursue my dream. Journalism gives me the skills I need to tell stories effective...

Post N°2: The best Holidays

Imagen
The best Holidays It was July 2022. My destination was Antillanca, a place located 98 km from Osorno according to Google. The adventure lasted five days, enough time to fully enjoy the snow. I went with my family, including my parents, brother and little sister. Which made it a very special trip with my family. During our vacation, we immersed ourselves in the world of skiing and snowboarding and enjoyed the scenic views on the mountain cable car. In addition, we gathered around cozy campfires in the alpine huts and savored delicious dishes while gazing at the snow-capped mountains. This trip has been the best so far because it combined the thrill of winter sports with the warmth of family companionship. The laughter while playing with snow, the cozy evenings together and the beauty of the place made it an unforgettable experience.

Blog post 1: A country you would like to visit

Imagen
England The country boasts a rich history and heritage, with iconic landmarks like Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. The bustling metropolis of London, as the capital, offers a world-class cultural scene and lively nightlife. Furthermore, England has left an enduring mark on music, literature, and the arts, with the opportunity to explore renowned museums and galleries such as the National Gallery and Tate Modern.  I don't know much about England, the day I want to visit that country I will have to inform myself very well about the lodging, procedures and things that are required to enter. I have seen on TV very nice and famous places, iconic streets like Abbey Road are my goals to visit when I am there. The first time would only be for vacation, I have to be very sure and know the country well to work/live there.
